Trevor James Plug Set for Open Hole Flute - set of five plastic plugs to fit the open holes on Trevor James flutes. Trevor James tone hole plugs for the flute are designed to cover the open holes on a French-style open-hole flute. Open-hole flutes can be challenging for players who are not used to covering the holes completely with their fingerpads. Tone hole plugs allow progressing players or those transitioning from a closed-hole flute to adapt gradually. Players with smaller hands, limited finger flexibility, or physical considerations my require assistance in seal the tone holes consistently. Plugs provide a solution to ensure proper coverage and sound production. Optional temporary use: Some advanced players may use tone hole plugs in specific situations, such as injury or fatigue, while maintaining the option to remove them later. The plugs can be easily inserted or removed as the player progresses or becomes comfortable with the open holes.
