I specialise in the maintenance, repair and restoration of woodwind instruments, with a focus on clarinets, saxophones, flutes and bassoons. My work combines traditional craftsmanship, technical precision and a deep understanding of how each instrument should feel and respond for the player.

I carry out everything from routine maintenance and adjustments to more extensive repairs, including:

- General servicing and playing-order repairs to improve reliability,  response and intonation.

- Full servicing, including complete inspection, adjustment of mechanisms, cleaning, regulation and replacement of worn components.

- Pad replacement and repadding, ensuring correct sealing, smooth action and optimal tone.

- Keywork repairs and adjustments, including correcting alignment issues, replacing screws, springs, corks and felts.

- Leak detection and elimination, restoring instruments that no longer play correctly.

- Mechanical repairs and restoration work on both modern and vintage instruments.

- Set-up and optimisation, helping musicians achieve the best possible response and playability from their instrument.

Each instrument is carefully assessed before work begins, as every player and instrument has different needs. My aim is not only to repair an instrument, but to restore its character, improve its performance and ensure it feels natural and inspiring to play.

Working with students, amateur musicians, professionals, schools and ensembles, I provide a personal and detailed service built around quality workmanship and attention to detail.
